Hi! I am a 22 year old female who just graduated from college in California and moved to Singapore this fall to teach English abroad! :) I previously studied abroad in Hong Kong for four months in fall of 2016 and fell IN LOVE with the places and experiences I came across. Thus, I knew I had to come back to Asia to live and travel after graduation before I go back to grad school. So here I am! I have a lot of breaks and plan on exploring new countries in Asia I have not had a chance to see - hoping to meet incredible people along the way :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling solo is amazing but it can also get quite lonely at times. I hope that whoever is wiling to host me will be able to share good conversations with me and help me learn more about the location I am visiting :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aside from packing up my bags and moving across the world alone, one of my proudest accomplishments is my undergrad honors thesis/research that I wrote titled "Refugee Postmemories: Secondhand Memory and Intergenerational Conflict in the Lives of 1.5 and Second Generation Vietnamese Americans." If you want to learn more about it, I'd be happy to talk more about it in person!
