I'm currently in my second year of masters. Two years ago I took a gap year to travel for six months around Asia and New Zealand. For the past half year I've been studying abroad in Australia (Melbourne). I love little adventures, hitchhiking my way around, seeing the most amazing places and meeting new people. Because travelling around the world and meeting locals has been so amazing, I would love to start hosting people at my house. As you can see, I haven't hosted any surfers before, but I figured now would be the perfect time to start it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love meeting kind, funny, happy, enthusiastic, remarkable, interesting, weird (especially this one) and spontaneous new people. I like to not only see a bit more of the world while travelling, but also meeting the people who live there and learning about new cultures. Of course, I'd like to show everyone around my city as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love listening to music, I listen to basically everything. Most of the time I will listen to electronic, indie, rock, singer songwriter kind of music; Alt J, Tame Impala, George Ezra, Arctic Monkeys, Kooks, Black Keys, Vance Joy, HONNE, Jack Garrat, Oh Wonder, Kaleo, etc. But I also enjoy all the golden oldies or a good sing a long song (and yes, I will sing along although my voice is definitely not the best). And if you've got something else that I need to listen to, jazz, country, techno, anything, let me know! Also big fan of concerts and festivals.

During studies I might not have a lot of time for reading, but while travelling I read a lot. Favorites include The White Tiger, The Art of Fielding, All the Lights We Cannot See, The Song of Achilles and The Japanese Lover.

And yes, I also like to watch movies. As long as it's no horror, I can watch everything!
