About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people, host awesome guests, and recieve copius amounts of good karma!
ABOUT ME
My names Jessie, a recent college graduate from the University of California-Santa Cruz (Banana Slug for life). Currently an English teacher at a middle school in Incheon, South Korea and loving every minute of it. I aspire to go back home to the states go to law school and practice either civil or environmental law (or both) in either my hometown of Los Angeles, California or perhaps see what Brooklyn, New York has to offer. I don't know we'll see. For now though I want to see the world! What better time then now right?
PHILOSOPHY
I'm an open book.. life is what you make it. The world is my oyster, but I'm more than willing to share.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am fairly new to this but I would like to host couch surfers so that I can get my rep up on this site. I'm moving back home to the states October of next year but would like to back pack through Europe before I head home. I figure this would be good for me when I end up in Europe. If not just for the experience and networking with like minded adventurous individuals.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted once before and really enjoyed the company of my guests. Meeting people from all over the world is such an awesome experience and I'd like to continue to do so.
Interests
I am a huge politics junky, mostly American, but I'm for a good conversation about anything. I'm really into music, I love all sorts of genres and sang tenor in the gospel choir at my university (although I must confess I'm the least bit religious). I love the arts in general, photography, painting, drawing, you name it. Food fanatic.. I want to taste it all. I love the outdoors, enjoy hiking, camping, rafting, anything that gets you back in nature.. And last but not least I'm a huge dog lover. Although hes not hear, I have a beautiful husky named Gryffin back home that I miss everyday. If you're traveling with a dog let me know and maybe we can figure something out.

Before both of these things I was bit by the travel bug early at age 16, I traveled through Germany and followed both the Mexican and U.S soccer teams during the World Cup in 2006.
