I'm a no bullshit, down to earth kind of girl, who always loves giving new things a crack. My friends call me an adventure seeker, and my family is super important to me. I love the outdoors - hiking, camping, picnics, wakeboarding (I'm fairly terrible), and snowboarding. 🏂 But I also love chilling with a cuppa and a good book, or getting stuck into a crafty project.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the last 5 years I've been working a desk job in digital marketing in Melbourne. 😴 Last month I quit my job, and made the hasty decision to blow off normal life and head across the ditch to be a travelling nomad in NZ. 🚙 My plan is to explore every inch of New Zealand, get to know the culture, meet quality people, and see if I can sustain a life as a remote-working marketer and roaming videographer 🎥

I'm new to Couchsurfing, but from what I hear it's a cheap and fast way to meet quality people and get local knowledge about a new place. So here I am giving it a crack!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my last visit to NZ in December 2016 I sky dived Fox Glacier. Seeing Mt Cook, and the snow capped Southern Alps as I fell through the sky from 16,000ft was pretty unforgettable!

I have five years experience in the digital marketing field, and would be happy to teach anything from email, social media and content marketing, to search engine optimisation or Facebook advertising. I'm also pretty handy with video editing and basic design.

I love to craft! Especially cross stitch, working with polymer clay, and illustrating. And would be happy to share my skills and teach you :)
