About Me
CURRENT MISSION
We just fulfilled a five-year dream in May of going to Iceland...now we are on the hunt for something new!
ABOUT ME
We are two very happy and travel-loving people with three very cute kids that we drag around with us. We have been married since 2007 and our favorite joint activity is exploring the cultures of the mankind. We love history, culture, languages, religions, and cheeses.
Jeff is a sales manager in the greater Boston area, having just completed his MBA. Alisha is an independent creative and professional writer who spends most of her time with the amazing offspring (staying-at-home: it's a choice, not a lack of options).
Our kids are five, three, and zero. We believe in children. Especially in well-behaved children.
We both grew up traveling and love to see new places. We are always excited to meet people on our adventures (at home or abroad), which makes CS perfect for us.
PHILOSOPHY
We're Latter-day Saints.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are have opened our home to friends (old and just-made) informally since we got married. We are excited to get to know more people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have couch-surfed in Serbia and Iceland and it was amazing. We have met up with various other couch surfers and have loved it.
Interests
We are interested in...bacon! All things Hungarian. Also, European, American, Jewish, and Mormon history. We like surprises, old people, adventures, the sun, and geeking out about things other people don't care about. We are obsessed with Iceland.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music: Josh Ritter, Of Monsters and Men, the Decemberists, Regina Spektor, Ben Lee, the Weakerthans, Sufjan Stevens, the Shins, Iron and Wine, the Mountain Goats, etc.
We will both read almost anything. We own more books than we do furniture (minus the bookcases that house them).
We don't own a tv.
