About Me

I am a small town girl who gained a passion for travel early in life. My first real taste of it was in grade 11 when I spent 3 months in France on an exchange. Had a wonderful experience meeting new people and my exchange partner and I became very close. My 2nd big trip was to Thailand for 4 months where I did another exchange.
I am currently working for an IT security company in sales in the west end of Ottawa. During a typical week I usually spend some time at the gym, possibly playing hockey or softball, watching netflix, and on weekends I like to spend time with friends either by hanging out at someones house or going out to the bars!
I very much enjoy exploring and trying new things whether it be in my own city or somewhere completely new.

Interests

Aside from the obvious, traveling, I enjoy meeting new people, having some drinks and dancing, playing hockey or softball, hiking, and anything water related!
I could spend hours at a lake or beach with good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to country music.
For movies, I love romantic comedies (or anything Nicholas Sparks).. But I also have a love for horror movies!
I like to read romance novels, business books & biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing would be traveling Vietnam for 10 days by myself. Such an incredible experience to have that independence and freedom to do whatever I wanted. I also rented a motor bike and drove it around Vietnam when I had never driven one before (and didn't crash).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories, Canadian culture, and I could possibly cook for them!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, Cuba, France, Greece, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
