ABOUT ME

Right now I am finally doing what I have wanted to do for years, I am teaching English outside of the US. I teach both children and adults, I enjoy doing both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to travel and meet new people, couch surfing seems like a perfect way to do that. Right now I don't have accommodation to host anyone but in a few months I might.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

May of 2011 I stayed on two different couches of wonderful people in Helsinki. I occasionally do couch surfing events in St. Petersburg.

Interests

I enjoy many things. I like to read science fiction, fantasy, drama, horror, and history and current events things for non fiction. I enjoy playing sports though I don't do so on a regular basis enough to be very good. I love doing outdoor activities in nature like canoeing, fishing, hiking, etc... I like trying new things and trying new experiences as often as possible.

I don't listen to much music but I will enjoy almost any genre.

For fiction I mostly read sci-fi, fantasy, and realistic drama but I will try most authors at least once. For non-fiction I prefer history and sometimes current events and about various parts of the world that interest me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 4 months in studying abroad in southern Africa during university. It was the adventure of my lifetime so far.
