About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play music and make myself and others happy by doing so.

ABOUT ME

Music is the center of my life. I love to perform and in true Leo style, I love the stage. My most current project is Skunk Ruckus, an old tyme band with punk rock ethic. Out of doors activity is my other thing (but not as much as I want it to be right now), I love to be on the river. My ambition is to play as much as possible and perhaps eek out a living doing so.

PHILOSOPHY

Its all for the good

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer up my house, a tour about the area and some pretty cool people who happen to like to be around me. I also enjoy cooking soooo if I am in the mood y'all might be in luck.

Interests

Music, touring, finding other bands to do this with, meeting other musicians who love to share their abilities and talents without geeting to caught up in ego. Meeting others in general who can still be suprised.

Music, Movies, and Books

Avid listener of almost all genres of music as long as its a good representation. I have a degree in engilsh so reading (all kinds of stuff) is important to me. Movies swing from horrible 80's cliches to the crazy "deep" unwatchable

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived...

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a great love of Southern Appalachin music and its evolution. Its history of where it has come from and where it is heading. I play a style of banjo called claw hammer, it is still played in parts of Africa, it was brought over by the slaves and addapted, as all things americana... Would love to share music! I also love to discuss books, movies, music, their general and specific connections and how they relate to society,

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to shop and cook... my treat! I also have been told I am pretty good at the conversation.
