About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world a little better place to live
ABOUT ME
My name is Jimena, I'm 30, I was born, I grew up and I live in Mendoza, Argentina. I'm single, I'm a journalist, I live with my mother and her husband. I'm a sister, I'm a daughter, I'm a friend... I have two jobs: as a web editor of a magazine and in a radio. I'm a friendly and funny girl and I always smile. I am optimistic and positive but also sensitive and reflexive (and a little weepy).
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the good things in life. Carpe diem!

Interests
I love my work and when I'm not working I love to spend time with my friends and family. I love cinema. Everytime I can, I watch movies. One of my favourites directors is Susanne Bier, from Denmark. Others are: Francis Veber, Tim Burton, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Pedro Almodóvar… One actor? Colin Firth, I think I’m in love with him! I want to travel, meet new places, learn about other cultures and make new friends. I don’t eat meat, except fish and seafood. I really like red wine (the best Malbec is from my place, Mendoza) and I die for chocolate! I love animals, specially dogs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I did was traveling around Sweden. I met my friend Johan in Chile –in 2002- and a year later I went to his city, Eslov, a little town in the South of Sweden. I met his family and I traveled around all the country. I also went to Copenhague, Denmark. It was a wonderful trip. A few years later, Johan’s sister, Linnea, came to Mendoza and she spent a month at home with me and my family. We are like sisters now!
Other amazing thing in my life was falling in love… Yes, I suffered, but after the first time I thought it would never happen again. I was wrong: I fell in love again. He was not the one, so I’m still waiting for the right guy. In Spanish we say “La tercera es la vencida”, something like “The third time's the charm”.
