My name is Jimpei from Japan. I used to live in Auckland, New Zealand on working holiday for one year. I want to be an English teacher in Japan. That's why I went to New Zealand. I'm university student in Japan. I took one year off for working holiday after 3rd grade. I study pedagogy like general education to be a teacher. I also study psychology which is helpful for being good teacher.

I wanna meet people who have different idea, language and culture! I think the important thing to be a good teacher is not only studying hard, but also having any kinds of experiences.

Interests

I'm interested in different cultures and language. One year ago I came to New Zealand to study English, but I have met a lot of people who can speak more than two languages. That's why I started learning Spanish because I got a number of friends from Latin America. I wish I could go there and talk with my friends in Spanish!

I'm also into movie, music and coffee. I want to talk with you about this kinds of topic!

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to rock music. My favorite rock band is The Beatles in the world and BUMP OF CHICKEN in Japan. I also like any kinds of music such as pop, country and jazz.
My favorite movie is Cinema Paradiso, but I'm interested in any genre of movies except horror. Nowadays I'm into Indian movie called 'Bollywood'.
I read 4 or 5 books a month. I prefer non-fiction to novel.
