Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is Haruki Muramaki's Norwegian Woods. I've read it around 10 times for a decade. I'm also an average anime enjoyer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I successfully defended my PhD in Mathematics in June 2024. I'm Dr. Chen now.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach almost all college math contents, some programming, basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tricks, native Chinese Mandarin, Hokkien / Taiwanese.
I love running and accomplished my first full marathon (26 miles / 42 km) in May 2023. We can run together!
I learn foreign languages (mainly Japanese) and I am open to any interesting things you're willing to teach!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've studied in several universities among China, United States and Canada, and taught high school, undergraduate (mainly), graduate courses in California for 5 years, and now work in a top university in Japan, so feel free to ask me anything about US/China/Japan higher education. I enjoy sharing and discussing multi-cultural topics!
