About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Self-discovery and all-around learning, making friends and family along the way.
ABOUT ME
I'm a very laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who doesn't mind just relaxing and conversing to pass the time away. But! I also enjoy being active, be it hiking, biking, skydiving, whatever!
Others enjoy me because I'm a very different kind of thinker, and I'm not ashamed of who I am. I'm a complex person with simple tastes who's well-mannered and polite, but not above licking off a plate! I love meeting new people and talking about everything, the more out-there and thought-provoking, the better! I always listen with an open mind, because I know I don't have all the answers, and you never know what someone else might teach you.
I'm trying to figure out what I'd like to do with my life, from a career standpoint, a social standpoint, and a personal standpoint. My uncertainty towards what exactly I want for myself is a big part of what led me to want to just take off, go out, and experience!
PHILOSOPHY
"Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under the trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of water, or watching the cloud float across the sky is by no means a waste of time." - John Lubbock
"The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time." - Bertrand Russell
"Worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum." - Mary Schmich
Everything in life is a matter of perspective.
You can always find something to be happy about.
Never let yourself get too comfortable.
A life without fear is the ultimate freedom.
I believe in a life before death, not after.
Question everything.
Amplify the commonalities, silence the differences.
"Thinking men cannot be ruled." - Ayn Rand

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I explored La Alhambra in Spain, which was absolutely stunning, but an oddity that left an even deeper impression was a scene later that evening in nearby Albaicín: A small, dimly-lit plaza area with an atmosphere of wonder, where a gypsy was dancing while dogs played around her, and the fully illuminated Alhambra in the background. Beautiful.
