ABOUT ME
Active retired professor who loves the great outdoors. I'm a mountain gal! Moved to the beautiful Tetons for an active lifestyle which includes my horses, skiing and hiking. While teaching in Davis, CA I rented to students and faculty from around the world (Turkey, China, Japan, Spain, Vietnam as well as Californians). My kids (now grown) called our home "little international house".
Interests
Riding my beautiful horses in the Tetons with my Golden Retriever tagging along, skiing (downhill and cross country), hiking, cycling, traveling usually on bicycle trips (until I tied myself down with animals), reading, listening to music, movies. I miss the contact of sharing my house with others that I had while in Davis and Truckee, CA.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing beats the beautiful country of the Tetons while on foot, horseback, skis, or just looking out the window. While riding our horses in Harriman State Park last week, a friend and I both commented how lucky we are to live here. A cycling trip from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park to Jackson Lake and return, a couple of weeks ago was breath taking. If I had taken a camera I wouldn't have made it home before dark,as it was the last day before the park was opened to autos and snow was just melting from the Tetons. Have done many cycling trips in Europe, Vietnam and US, extensive hiking in Peru and Nepal and working with Earth Watch in Madagascar and Katmandu. Viewing Machupichu, Peru at sunrise and sunset was breathtaking as was rising from a tent at sunrise for a Himalayan view.
