About Me
I feel like it is really difficult to write about myself, mainly because I am constantly changing and evolving (at least I hope the latter is true). I am an eighteen years old student of languages and literature from Brazil, but I am always thinking about changing my degree to history. I love talking about politics, books, cultures, history, my country, or about anything you would like to chat about. I love cinema, but I am not going to write about this right now, because I could be doing this all day long (we can talk about films when we meet). I am addicted to learning and practicing new languages. At the moment, I speak fluent Portuguese (my native language), fluent English, and I am starting to study French. I discovered CS this year, when I decided to work for three months in a summer camp for homeless children in upstate NYC, I had the best experience ever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had the best experience with CS in 2018, when I decided to work at a summer camp for homeless kids in upstate NYC. I love meeting new people, sharing conversations, drinking coffee whilst talking about politics or cartoons (I really love talking about anything at all).

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, RHCP, The Offspring, etc. I love reading and I like a variety of books, from Harry Potter to Dostoievski and Karl Ove Knausgard. I'm also addicted to cinema, recently I've been watching some French films, the last one was "Divines". I love Kubrick, Scorsese, Tarantino, and Greta Gerwig.
You can check what I am currently reading on my Goodreads:
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have worked three months at a summer camp for homeless kids in upstate NYC, I met such incredible people, and I have gathered so many different and enlightening experiences during my time in there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Portuguese, English, a little bit of history, some about the politics of my country, some vegetarian dishes and desserts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make coffee and talk with you about anything you feel like talking for hours. I LOVE sharing stories and experiences, talking about my country and the things that I am passionate about. Having good conversations about films and tv series (and obviously books) is the best program ever. I love walking, going to different places, meeting different people, teaching and learning about whatever comes on my way. If we can talk about languages, I can do this for hours.
