I love my family; I love learning; I love traveling. I'm from a small town in Ohio, and am currently pursuing a PhD in materials engineering from Purdue. I really have no idea where life will take me when I graduate in a few years, but most important life decisions have come last-minute so I am not too worried about it. I still feel like I am just a kid learning how to live.

Few things in life are definite, and therefore my core beliefs are refined with every conversation I have. I fully embrace experiences that open my mind, and I have a habit of trying to do the same for others.

In terms of hobbies, I do anything that gets me off my feet - basketball, volleyball, ping pong, snowboarding, bowling, etc. I do not really watch movies/TV, so conversations that involve celebrity gossip will mainly just have me nodding my head in polite agreement. I have a terrible singing voice, but my roommate would be incredibly disappointed if I did not mention that I played Troy Bolton in my middle school production of "'Almost' High School Musical". Alternatively, I love fluffy pets and nights spent bonding with a new group of friends. I enjoy learning different styles of dance, so feel free to teach me whatever you know if we meet in person.
