Overview
About Me
I have just finished up living in Melbourne for two years finding out that a really don't like living in big cities, so now I have decided to go exploring again. Starting off in Canada for some snowboarding (my passion) and climbing (my project) and who knows where after that.
I am energetic and enthusiastic about life but not in the over the top kind of way, love working with my hands, board sports make me smile, solid Whiskey knowledge, Bit of a granddad when it comes to technology. Terrible at selling myself in writing, much better face to face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I think its the best way to see the best parts of a place. If that means good tips about the top places to eat, relax and party and I will be very happy. Although hopefully it also means a chance to meet amazing people and give me a better chance of understanding what that place is all about.
I'll be a good house guest, very tidy and always leaving the toilet seat down. I also believe that if someone is kind enough to give a stranger a couch for the night then they deserve to have a dinner cooked for them and I will always be happy to do this.

Teach, Learn, Share
Always interested in learning new recipes or sharing some of mine. I also do a fairly good Impersonation of a peacock if anyone wants to learn how to do that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As I have already said I'm always happy to cook dinner and have a good conversation with a bottle of wine. If anybody was thinking about going to Australia then Ill also be happy to help with ideas about where is worth visiting.
I will also bring along with me a load of optimism that I'm always happy to share. Thanks for reading hopefully see you soon.
