27 and after 4 wonderful years living in the UK I am off back to NZ to be closer to my family. But first, to see as much of this side of the world as I can!

To meet people from other cultural backgrounds. Share ideas and experiences and hopefully get more out of my time travelling than the usual 'hostel' experience.

Interests

Love music, especially indie, punk music.. But open to exploring all types! Have played sport my whole life. Mainly rugby and cricket but I also like football. I am passionate about meeting and learning from people from different backgrounds to my own. Passionate about my job as a therapy radiographer (when I am not travelling).

IDLES, The Clash, Bruce Springsteen, The Smiths, The National, Warpaint, Public Service Broadcasting, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Nirvana... Top 3 movies of all time: Forrest Gump, Gladiator and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (in that order). Lately I've been reading a lot of non-fiction. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari blew my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iceland- the glaciers, volcanoes and and wildlife. Best place I've ever been.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will always offer at the very least: A happy smile, an open mind and a willingness to help around the house wherever I can. I will always be keen to sit down and chat about life, culture, anything really. I'm a chilled out guy who just loves meeting new peeps. Also willing to cook and if you drink, just tell me your drink of choice so I can come prepared 🍻.
