I am a Peace Corps Volunteer who lives in Bilisht, Albania very near to the Greece Border and the city of Korca. I grew up in Upstate New York, in a large family with two brothers and three little sisters. I'm laid back and interested in other culture and history, especially Greece and Roman. I'm learning Albanian and Greek so I can do my best to translate for those that come through.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have a huge apartment and i'm living alone for the next two years of my volunteer service in Albania. I am trying to entertain fellow volunteers, friends and family that visit, but would also like to host new and interesting people that are travelling through the region. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience of my new home. Living here I can show you around from a locals perspective and help you enjoy your travels a little more.

Intereses

Hiking, skiing, running, eating, exercise, traveling, sports( football american! basketball), reading about world politics and any book that catches my interest. Side note; I really want to learn carpentry.

Música, películas y libros

I like rock music of all types but not heavy metal, Reggie, some pop stuff and my guilty pleasure is Katy Perry. I admit it her voice is wonderful, haha! Honestly i'm not a big music person if it sounds good I will listen to it. I like all kinds of movies as long as they are well directed. Books, well I don't read enough but when a good book hooks me in I can't put it down. If you surf here, do me a favor and bring a good book with you.

I climbed the summit of mount Olympus alone in the dark to reach it in time for sunrise. Dumbest, most dangerous and incredibly rewarding thing I've ever done. Truly is the home of the Gods!

I have a huge apartment with tons of space and two extra twin size beds. Or if you prefer you can sleep on the couches. I am a decent cook but can also take you to one of the better local restaurants.
