About Me

I'm a tall blond dane, 23 years of age. I'm curious and interested in learning new cultures. In a globalized world where all our actions affact one another, I believe it's a neccesity to experience different ways of living if we are to coexist.
I study political science in Copenhagen and live in a very social dormitory where we eat together five days a week and spend a lot of time socialising.
I'm ambitious with my studies and love politics, but I always make sure to enjoy myself meantime. I enjoy hanging around in a dusty bars (in danish "bodegas"), watch a soccergame, go fishing, play a boardgame or loosen up my stiff hips dancing salsa.

So far, I have only surfed on CS, but now I love to contribute to the community by hosting!

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to be more spontaniuous and less structured in my way of living.
And practice my spanish!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to welcome to people with new experiences and histories to broaden my own horizon.

Also when i travel, I'm not satisfied with only seeing the touristic sights. In order thoroughly experience a city and a foreign culture I feel the need also to get in touch with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite books is Erland Loe's "Doppler". It's about a man moving in to the Norwegian woods together with an Elk called "Bongo" to try to live a less competent life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spend half a year in a danish "folkhighchool". It's a danish concept where you study the subjects you want to study for half a year without exams or grades, while living in a manor house with 100 outher young people the countryside. Here I got some of my best friends. Goverment pays half of the stay. It's amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to practice my spanish. I lived in Nicaragua half a year, but now three years have past, and unfortunately my spanish is disappearing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My own stories and experiences! And a glimpse in to the life of a danish student.
