Update: I will be on a solo trip through the Western Balkans during the month of July. I’m looking forward to meet new people and get inspired!! - which means I’m currently not in Copenhagen! I am very thankful for the opportunities I had and still have to be able to see a lot of different places and to meet so many interesting people. Not everyone is that lucky to explore the world. I am really trying to appreciate that and to keep it in mind whereever I am. I am pretty easy-going and always up for an interesting chat. Whereever I go I try to get to know and to understand the people and the culture as thoroughly as possible. Trying to learn the language (or at least a few words) of the spoken language in the country that I visit or live in is very important to me. I don't want to be a typical tourist. That is a contradiction, I know. Wherever I go I am a foreigner, a tourist that wants to see the highlights a country or a culture has to offer. I think that is the thing that bothers me the most when travelling.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have discovered Couchsurfing when I went to Western Canada in 2015. I really enjoyed it and in my opinion it is the best way to visit not only a new place but also to meet locals. Whenever I have met a couchsurfer it enriched me in a way I can´t even describe! I haven't been using this account for quite some time but I am really keen on using it again :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- An amazing ride through the width of Torres del Paine National Park - one week of wilderness in the amazon region in Ecuador - canoeing with my couchsurfing host on a lake in Jasper National Parc at fullmoon - driving on the roof on a range rover through the salar de Uyuni in Bolivia - being welcome in an Afghan family by enjoying a wonderful dinner with 20 family members
