About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a clean, honest person who has dedicated my life to serving others. I am a community organizer, primarily working in the animal liberation space, and also support all social justice issues. I'm naturally a caring person with a huge heart, and I'm really good at reading and understanding people. I try to be as low-waste as possible and am a low-maintenance person.

When travelling, I try to make the most of my experience and spend most of my time having adventures and seeing new things. My hobbies include cycling, hiking, cooking (I’m a great cook & baker if I may say so myself), art, and eating anything chocolate.

THINGS I BELIEVE IN

Believe women, pro choice, LGBTQ+ rights, black lives matter, water is life, housing is a human right, support veterans not war, animal liberation ✊🏼

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To have a local experience when travelling. For me, one or the best parts about travel is meeting locals and learning the local secrets. I also enjoy community and care, and feel that couchsurfing is a cool way to meet and serve others.

I'm new to CS (app) but have couch surfed as when I recently moved to California I stayed on people’s floors/couches for 2 months before securing housing of my own. I have also hosted a number of people with me over the years (friends, not through this app) and know what hosting entails - so I have respect and understanding of what makes a good couch surfer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organized a slaughterhouse shutdown where 4 people chained themselves while hundreds blocked traffic and shut the place down for the day. We made local and national news and liberated four chickens who now live happy and safe at a rescued animal sanctuary.

Teach, Learn, Share

Vegan cooking and baking, crafts, art.
I love to share opinions on anything; movies, music, politics, philosophy, anything else on your mind/that you can think of! I enjoy inquisitive debate - talking to people with different opinions than my own and approaching with curiosity to better understand them and their perspective.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Plant based cooking - food & also cooking lessons. I am certified in plant based nutrition and would share any nutrition tips or advice if you seek it.

Stories from all my wild life adventures. Workout tips. Laughs. My place if you ever need a spot to crash in the San Francisco Bay Area.
