Hi guys. Wanna taste the wild? And having a kitchen? I mean it literally. I am travelling Northern Europe now, part of a, perhaps, 14 month journey by bike. On the road, and in parks, forests, ditches etc. I gather wild plants, called foraging, making up new salads, nut pastes and other dishes. I have the ingredients you newer heard of, such as meadowsweet, pigweed or chickory, plus all those you love: cherries, blackberries and more. What I haven´t got, being on the bike, is a kitchen equipped to make tasty dishes and the, hopefully, grateful and, no doubt, good company for preparing and eating the food. I am a fun host, (not now, 100s of kms away from home) and guest. Loving life, socializing and sharing good stories. I am also a passionate traveller, having travelled numerous European destinations plus Canada, the US, Brazil, India, the Phillipines, Sri Lanka, Egypt and Morocco.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
To connect with locals and travellers of all sorts, especially those interested in food and in foraging and in low-tech travelling such as bicycling. For me meeting new people and experiencing new cultures are some of the most amazing apsects of life. For instance, i spent a month in California and Nevada and met some amazing people and had the time of my life. I love hosting great people too.
