About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly and interesting person. I love hosting or meeting up for great company, great conversation and great stories, travel stories and other sorts. In fact i am on a story-telling mission, so tell me your stories, i will tell you mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet amazing people, chill out, share stories, and save you from the Little Mermaid. I could perhaps show you some amazing places of Copenhagen, such as food places or Christiania. Perhaps you could even join me for the ultimate Copenhagen Gospel Voices experience. To meet other likeminded international Copenhageners/Malmø citizens, who are interested in event-making.

Interests

Singing in a gospel choir. Traveling. Stories, be it fiction or your personal stories. Music: most genres, including rock, pop, funk, gospel, various kinds of classical music, Jazz, well, etc. etc, just not the kind of techno that has the same beat as all the other tunes, and a melody of just 4 tones or so. Also not the kind of pop that certain radio stations serve intended for the older audience, about the harmony of grand ma´s vacation house or other sentimental stuff.
Cooking, when in good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Keith Jarret, Gustav Holst, Muse, Queen, Jeff Buckley, rock, symphonic rock, pop, impressionist, romantic classical, e.g. Chopin, swing, electro swing, Dubstep, flamenco, gospel......
Movies: Dr. Strangelove, or how i learned to love the bomb. Those British guys, Monty Python. Crazy stuff.
Tv-series: The weird stuff, like Dexter, my favorite, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, also ok, and Six Feet Under, crazy series starring the guy from Dexter.
Books: Haruki Murakami. The ecological economics stuff by Herman Daly. That man should receive the nobel prize in Economics!!! Bill Bryson, "I am a Stranger here Myself". A very interesting and entertaining analysis of the experience of moving back to his home country, the USA, after living in England for many years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to India and other travelling in Asia. Particularly the holiday in beautiful Andaman Islands, snorkling among amazingly colourful fishes and enjoying the amazing beaches and parties.....
My trip to Brazil, including Rio de Janeiro, Isla Grande and Sao Paolo. It was a great adventure and a truly life-changing experience, resulting in new and stil lasting friendships, a long distance relationship later bringing me to Canada, and finally soon bringing me back to Corcovado, Caipirinhas, baile funk and great people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new languages. So far i am fluent in Danish and English, and learning Spanish and Portuguese bit by bit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

.....and not least what i can offer guests:
A very welcoming attitude, fun, i can be quite funny some say, great conversation, perhaps good food, if we feel like it. Exchange of stories. Well, you could also, perhaps, accompany me to a gospel choir, if you hit the right day of the week, or we could go to a party.

Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, India, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Romania, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden
