I'm a curious person - I love learning languages and traveling. I read fiction and history, also listen to fiction in the form of podcasts, or as they call themselves, audio dramas. Focus on science fiction but not limited; also a fan of Nabokov.

I think the world should be open - people should be able to travel, work, or live wherever they want, and not just in terms of immigration law: housing and temporary lodging should be plentiful enough that that is straightforward economically. Hosting like this is perhaps a small way to live that.
