About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I've travelled a little bit before and heard about this site a lot. THIS, however, is the first time I've used it. The thing I like most about travel is meeting people and making fast friends. I'm on here because I think I can do that even faster through couch surfers.

I'm travelling through USA on a brief jaunt to see what's going on up here. I think couch surfing is ideal for meeting some cool people and experiencing All the good stuff in town through their eyes.

Ideally I'm looking to make buddies for life who will come down to visit in Aus and stay with me :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm all about karaoke hits and will definitely want to do some karaoke with any hosts game enough.

I like Australian Punk/Indie, Chelsea Wolfe, Smiths, Molly Nillson, Sam Cooke, Andrew Bird, New Order, Kendrick Lamar, Leonard Cohen. I had two mix tapes in my car when I was in high school - LL Cool J and Hooty and the Blowfish - let the judgements flow.. I love sharing music and trying new things.

Movie/TV highlights in my Lyf: Cowboy Bebop, Hook w Robin Williams

I used to read a lot of philosophy, now I read gardening and physiology books :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the scariest things: an 6.2 earthquake in Guatemala.

Most Life Changing: an anthropology field school in Indonesia. It just re-oriented everything I believed about how we should live as a 20 year old boy.

Amazing?? Learn Spanish probably although now it's a bit rubbish :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach generosity, Learn facilitation, Share consensus

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm great at throwing out lots of unlinked facts. I'm an acceptable cook and will cook some dinner treats, I like gardening and have some knowledge to potentially share there :)

I have a general enthusiasm for small differences in how people do things and I will exclaim excitedly when I see them.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mexico, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Guatemala
