Fit, active and outgoing. Other than my job (I consider myself very lucky to have a job that I love, so many people waste their life doing something that they hate), I spend my time riding bikes, white water kayaking, hill walking and kite buggying when the tides/wind/weather allows. I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent, not in a university educated kind of way, because I usually need to Google some of the longer words. But more in a wiring-a-plug-and-putting-together-flatpack-furniture-common-sense kind of way. Confident but not cocky, silly but not stupid. I'm 25 with 26 years experience and try not to take life too seriously, after all, it's fatal, right? I've got all my own teeth (they're in a box somewhere!), a great sense of humour and although I've yet to master 'intermediates', I flatter myself that I'm practiced in the dark arts of the 'magic basket' ;-)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
A change of circumstances recently has meant that my life now has the chance to go off at a tangent. An opportunity that I fully intend to exploit. I plan to visit foreign climes ("Waiter! A plate of foreign climes!") and meet scores of interesting people. Couchsurfing, I think, will be indispensable.
Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly 80's rock but pretty much anything that isn't europop or jazz. Action/adventure, psychological thrillers, the occasional black and white classic. Terry Pratchett any day of the week but reading some Lee Child stuff at the moment.
