About Me
Hi! I'm John Ramiro – a curious mind with a love for cinema, education, cultural exchange, and meaningful conversations.
I'm based in Brazil and work as a teacher and cultural curator. I run online film discussions and language classes, always looking for new ways to connect people through stories, languages, and ideas. I believe that sharing experiences (and a good meal or a walk around town) is one of the best ways to learn about the world and ourselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy hosting and being hosted – especially when there’s room for cultural dialogue. I’m passionate about cultural perspectives, cinema, music, and hang out. I love to talk about films, listen to some music, have meals together, or share tips about local spots that don't usually appear in travel guides.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing what I know and learning from others. I can teach and learn about cultural topics like cinema and literature. I’m always eager to learn more about local histories, cooking traditions, and everyday ways of living in different places. I believe every exchange can be a small revolution – we can share music, stories, recipes, city walks, or just good conversations over coffee or wine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, local insights, and a respectful presence. I'm happy to cook a Brazilian meal, bring music from home, or recommend meaningful films and books. If you're learning Portuguese or English, I can help you practice. I’m also a good listener and genuinely curious about other people's stories. Whether it's helping out around the house and exchanging ideas. I’ll always try to make the exchange thoughtful and warm.
