About Me

25-yo dude originally from Luxembourg (yea it is a country!) - grew up here and there with the US as my second home. Spent 1/3 of my life on airplanes (and another third sleeping apparently). Very laid back, I travel as soon as I get 3 days off and I don't need much to have fun (also I got pretty cool travel stories)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to explore a city through the eyes of its population and quickly become of them. The feeling of shutting an actual door in the morning and heading out feels way more special than hanging up a "please clean the room" sign on a hotel room door handle! And most importantly I expect to end up drinking a cold brew with all of your friends while trying to reshape the world - isn't that what vacations are for?

(also I haven't used couchsurfing a lot but feel free to look at my Airbnb profile - I've got a lot of reviews on there)

Interests

As said previously I've traveled a lot and have plenty of cool stories to tell - I've also been told I'm a good listener as I am always amazed by what people I meet have to say. Also I am a tennis player, got pretty close to make it my job but then I discovered craft beer, which is my new passion! (the transition didn't happen that fast though!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much everything (how original) but if I had to choose I'd go with blues over anything else. I'm not a big movie guy but pretty any Kubrick's film will get my attention. And one of my favorite book has got to be "The Kindness of Strangers: Penniless across America" by Mike McIntyre - if you haven't read it drop everything and go read it! Then send me a message and I'll gladly fly over and couchsurf at yours so we can talk about the book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tend to appreciate every situation I'm in - although some turn out to be really annoying - but one of the coolest thing I've done is to watch the northern lights in the North Pole sitting by a bonfire by -30°C wrapped in bear fur while eating raindeer patties. Honestly don't you want to hear more? And see the photos?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach tennis .... or maths because let's be honest who doesn't love maths am I right? I'd love to learn from you too, litteraly anything. People tend to say I know a lot of things but it's all things I've learnt , been taught when traveling. Traveling is definitely the best school out there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll share anything!
