Hey! I'm João aka Johnny (yes, I have the most used portuguese name ever) and I was born in a small town called Torres Vedras, where I also live. I studied History of Art/Cinema and Audiovisual in Lisbon - so, if you know any museums/gallerys that worth in your city, you definitely must show me ;) I spend my free time skating by the ocean, running in the nature, riding my bike, going to gigs, reading some books and filming/editing movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music/Movies are two of my biggest interests.

I will be forever a punk hardcore kid, but I also can enjoy other styles of sounds like indie, garage, lo-fi, and old school rap/ hip-hop. I've got some eclectic music taste, but I listen a bit of everything, from classical to black metal.

I'm a major horror fan (the classics are my favorites) and a bit kinda geek about Star Wars original trilogy and Batman (Burton/Nolan). As a cinephile I can watch every type of movie and still enjoy them. Cinema Masters: Spielberg, Scorsese, Tarantino; and the greatest - Stanley Kubrick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Become vegan (and realise the benefits of it), which is really an important part of me today.

A couple years ago with my friends, I saved a dolphin that was stuck on the beach ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all the bad portuguese words, and trust me, we have a lot. Besides that, we can share some of our stories, important views about life, the world, eat/drink together and most important, have fun.
