À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world, explore myself

ABOUT ME

My name is Jon. I have all sorts of interests, ranging from music to frisbee to Chinese. This is a really hard box to fill.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is all about amassing experiences. This time is all we have, and its ours to do with it what we will. I figure the world is so big and complicated, the only way to truly learn anything about yourself is to tackle it head on.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. If you'd like to experience life at a quintessential northeastern liberal arts college, get in touch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed around Europe this past summer.

Centres d'intérêt

I am an avid film lover who plays guitar, alto saxophone and ultimate frisbee. I dream of living in China after I graduate from college. My brother wants to be a vetrinarian when he grows up. He loves cooking -- if you put us up, I guarantee he will cook you a meal.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'd love to teach a little about how to play music (I've been playing guitar and sax for 8 years each). I know a bunch about Jazz and Folk. I've been to China and researched it extensively, so I would love to share my experiences with that. I absolutely love giving mini Chinese lessons. I have no shortage of interesting stories -- I've led skydiving trips, hosted a radio show, performed EEG brainwave scans for research into cognitive language processing, and coordinated programs for the second largest summer camp in America.
