I'm a Banker living in New Haven, Ct. I love to travel and I'm hoping to do a lot more of it. Two most recent trips were a cycling trip down the Pacific Coast and 3 weeks in Ireland. Hoping to hike the Appalachian trail in the near future!

There are two major reasons that I've joined Couchsufing:
First, I love to travel (although my traveling has been almost exclusively in the U.S.) and this has the potential of making that more affordable.

Second (and more importantly), I believe that the people you meet make the trip! I want to help make people's trips memorable and connect with interesting people.

兴趣

I'm a huge movie guy. I'll watch pretty much anything (and then visit the IMDB trivia for it). I enjoy a good book and often get stuck in them even after I'm done reading. I grew up with a bird lover for a mother and I'm currently trying to become a better birder.

Of these three topics only one has remained constant and that is my favorite movie: The Princess Bride.
When it comes to music I have a pretty diverse taste but The Avert Brothers and Shakey Graves have me pretty hooked at the moment.
Books are another tough one, I'm currently reading East of Eden.
