Why I'm on Couchsurfing
There are two major reasons that I've joined Couchsufing: First, I love to travel (although my traveling has been almost exclusively in the U.S.) and this has the potential of making that more affordable. Second (and more importantly), I believe that the people you meet make the trip! I want to help make people's trips memorable and connect with interesting people.
Music, Movies, and Books
Of these three topics only one has remained constant and that is my favorite movie: The Princess Bride. When it comes to music I have a pretty diverse taste but The Avert Brothers and Shakey Graves have me pretty hooked at the moment. Books are another tough one, I'm currently reading East of Eden.

My Interests
I'm a huge movie guy. I'll watch pretty much anything (and then visit the IMDB trivia for it). I enjoy a good book and often get stuck in them even after I'm done reading. I grew up with a bird lover for a mother and I'm currently trying to become a better birder.
