I am a sociable person, I love meeting new people and learning from them. Every stranger is a possible future friend. I like to enjoy life, which for me means having a positive attitude every new day.

ABOUT ME

Enjoying life as much as I can, gaining experience everywhere I can. I love to cook, to travel, to surf, to sport in general, to enjoy life, to have a drink with friends, to watch a movie, to read a book in a park or on a terrace with a cold beer in front of me,... Lately I've also gained a lot more interest in nature and the conservation of it, so I'm trying to gain more information and experience on/in NGO's. If you know about interesting projects, let me know!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I live everyday like it would be my last. That doesn't mean I'm not responsible, I go to work from Monday to Friday. I prefer spending my free time travelling, learning, exploring,...
A good Irish friend of mine once told me that my hobby is to meet new people, she couldn't have been more right. I think you can learn from each person, everyone has something interesting to teach you, you just need to be patient sometimes to get it out of them :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and I surf, sometimes I even use hangouts.
In my house I have a small extra room reserved for visits and couchsurfers. So yes, you have your own room, although small, and with it some privacy.
My apartment is NON SMOKING, I have a balcony if you want to smoke.
I have a DOG so my place is not suited for people allergic to or afraid of dogs.
I'm always happy to host, but don't go asking me for weeks or months, my house is not a place for freeloaders, I also have costs. I don't mind helping out for a few nights and sometimes even a week (depending if we get along).

I stayed with people in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Mexico,... and hosted people from Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Japan, UK, Canada, United States, Latvia, Lithuania

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen the Maya temples in Guatemala. (Tikal)
Went canyoning in the north of Spain and jumped off a dam of about 11m high. (beautiful nature)
Became an uncle already 3 times :)
Travelled through Italy from north to south.
Seen a live Monty Python show

But there's so much more I want to do and see.
