About Me

I grew up in a small village near Metz in France and then went to uni in Nancy to study I.T. I moved to Strasbourg where I worked in an I.T. company for nearly 4 years until I found out I didn't want to go on with this routine for the next 50 years. So I decided to break free from my comfort zone and started to travel to try and find what else I could do with my life. I have spent a year in Australia, 9 months in England and here I am in Canada for a couple of years.

On a character level people usually say I have a very calm personnality and I am easy going.

But enough said about me. What about you? ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have often heard people talking about Couchsurfing and I thought that was a great concept in a modern society where people only seem to care about themselves. I have always felt like it is getting harder nowadays to start to talk with someone you don't know without being considered a weirdo. So I think that's a good way to both travel and meet local people. It's also nice to host some travellers at home when you are not travelling to keep meeting people from all around the world. I have never actually experienced it using this website but I've hosted quite a few random travellers when I had a flat near Strasbourg for 3 years. They were friends of friends who came from Slovakia to visit Strasbourg and I loved being part of their trip and sharing things with them.

Interests

Obviously as most people here I love travelling.

I am also passionate about music. I've been playing in a rock band for 7 years and in an acoustic band for 2 years. And I am now starting to work on my acoustic solo project.

One of my other interest while traveling is meeting people and talking about uncommon topics that open my mind to new things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some guitar basics (unless you are better than me ;)
If you want to learn or practice some French, I'd love to help you with that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Apart from sharing nice talks and stories I guess I could try to cook something for you (or invite you out or a meal) :) I can also sing you a song.
