Overview
About Me
I love to go out and travel, more specifically take road trips. I've visited Boston, Montreal, Toronto, NYC, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, and many other cities in the Northeastern US by car. I've also driven to Miami from Texas, as well to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona.
I enjoy going to concerts, festivals, museums (natural science and history are my favorite types), hikes, trying new restaurants or any experience that helps me #seekdiscomfort
Even though I was born in New York, I spent 17 years of my life growing up in Texas, so I identify as Texan. As such, I'm a huge fan of Tex-Mex cuisine, many kinds of Latin American cuisine, but most importantly, BBQ! Nobody makes BBQ better than Texans!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to visit many more cities/countries and experience fun activities. I would love to make friends with people all over the world to expand my view points of different cultures. I believe that in order to get the true experience of what it's like to live in a certain area, you have to try to interact with as many local people as possible since they will know all the best spots that tourists don't usually know about.
I can also host and show people essential places around the area.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting the Grand Canyon, truly a magnificent and incredible sight!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people English, Spanish, how to setup a good fitness program, computer repair, and how to make a couple of Latin American dishes.
I'm always looking to learn new things. I'm currently teaching myself to play Kalimba, learning German and Dutch, want to learn how to dance, and just in general about different cultures.
I can share my experiences of the cities I have traveled in, give advice as to where to go and what to see. I can also share some insight about Guatemalan culture, given that my parents and extended family are all from there and I've gone there 3 times to visit. Not very many people I meet know any Guatemalans.
