To try and make life as stress-free as possible. It's difficult in this world, but it's healthy and very important. Well, this is one of many missions anyway.

ABOUT ME

So, after growing up in the north of England for twenty five of my 33 years, I finally moved away and suddenly the world became much better. This all sounds so cliché, but meeting people from other places is the best thing ever. So for this section, the only real thing to say is that I'm friendly, outgoing, and hungry for more knowledge and experiences in this world. Like everybody who is reading this, I imagine. ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Crumbs. All this seems a bit cliché doesn't it? It feels like a 'Who can be the coolest?' contest. So basically, I try to live my life in a stress-free way, taking time for the things I like, and most of all treating people well and with respect.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since joining years ago I haven't really used it but now I want to make the most of it! I've just moved to Kuala Lumpur and will be living in and travelling around Malaysia and Southeast Asia for the next two years, minimum! I'm looking forward to hosting cool and interesting people and also looking forward to crashing on cool and interesting people's couches from time to time. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was arrested by SWAT TEAM when I was younger because we had been playing with toy guns on a football pitch, and some people thought they were real and called the police. Pretty funny. A helicopter came and police with huge rifles.

Teach, Learn, Share

So I'm an English teacher, and I enjoy helping people with this. Real northern England English, too. ;-)
Apart from this, I believe I'm a very empathetic person and I like to see things from other people's perspectives. It helps me to learn.

I also like to have a good time and a laugh.
