About Me

Sometimes I work in national parks, sometimes I teach English, sometimes I'm on a couch and sometimes I have an extra one to share - but I am ALWAYS down for new adventures and new people!

I just moved into a shared house so I cannot host for now - but I’m happy to explore with you all!

I started couchsurfing and hitchhiking during my years in uni, and taking part in something that a lot of people perceive as 'dangerous' proved to be exactly the opposite! Amazingly altruistic people are all over the place and I think cs really proves that.

CURRENT MISSION

"Live your life so well that death will tremble to take you." -Bukowski

ABOUT ME

I am always searching for new people and new adventures! Now, something a little less cliché: I dig the outdoors! Always keen for hiking, swimming, rock climbing, yoga, acro-yoga, slacklining or anything else that gets my ass out in nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to meet some new faces and exchange stories :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have acquainted my butt with a couple of couches, and my own couch with a couple of foreign butts, and I have learned about so many things that hostels just can't offer a traveler!

I have discussed cultural differences with people from all over the world, I have been taken to awesome places in cities that I would never have found by myself, I have been given so many opportunities through couchsurfing and I really think it is simply the best way to travel.

Interests

I find myself to be very fortunate in that I am one of those lucky bastards that gets the opportunity to explore and do what I am passionate about.

Just returned from a year teaching English in Spain; and I get to spend some time working in national parks (Yosemite, Lassen Volcanic, Grand Canyon). The environment and the natural world - and people's effects on both - have been such interesting topics and I could rant for hours on stuff like plastic use, overconsumption, ocean acidity, climate change, et cetera; and I am always up to learn more about how to reduce my global footprint.
