CURRENT MISSION

Finishing all 50 states. I have 7 remaining, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Arkansas, and Alaska :D Once those are completed, I'll begin traveling overseas.

ABOUT ME

My name is Jordi. I've been traveling the US for the past decade, living in different cities, and making new friends along the way. I love learning new things, and being a part of new experiences. I tend to jump from large cities to peaceful country settings, and back again. I love being a part of the nightlife, but also I love being outside camping and hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have now stayed with a handful of hosts and have enjoyed every person I've gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Using CS has allowed me to go many places that I couldn't have done easily otherwise, and tried things I wouldn't have otherwise tried (especially my first CS experience where I consumed a Trinidad Scorpion Pepper).

I value meeting people from different walks of life, and sharing stories :)

Interests

I love outdoor sports and activities, especially water based activities. I grew up playing piano and participating in vocal music, love karaoke. I am somewhat creative when I have focus, I like to draw and paint. I've just started getting into macrame.

Travel is #1 for me. I don't intend to stop my adventures until my body tells me it's had enough. I love being on the move.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, and a lot of different types. Foreign and indie films are always pretty interesting to watch. Books are a bit harder for me to maintain focus with (ADHD), but I do enjoy reading when I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've now roadtripped by car, bus, motorcycle, and have done a fair amount of hitchhiking. My first roadtrip was 9 months long, with a departure budget of $300. I made it work, learned how to live on next to nothing, and it was the most amazing experience. Sometimes the best memories come from the struggles. (:
