About Me

Mexican who's lived in London, UK for a few years, and San José, CA for one.
I'm more of the quiet type, maybe because I'm pisces.
Happy to travel by myself and meet people occasionally.
In my house as well as with hosts I'm rather clean and organized.
I'm gay and my friends are my family.
I'm into tech gadgets and I'm a fan of Apple and their products.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my 2022 travel in Europe, I learnt that CS is great in that you stay for free, socializing with people that open the doors for you to a culture you'd otherwise not access. Take tips from them, learn of food, and hear whatever they have to say. All this is super-valuable if you're travelling in a group, but priceless if you're travelling by yourself. I'm grateful for this and I'm hosting to keep the giving in balance with the receiving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped an old woman stand up, after she tripped walking upstairs. She refused the help from her equally old friend and in the end looked at me in the face and asked for my name.

While my best friend and his partner were out of town, I was given the responsibility to look after their dog Morgana for a few days, including walking her.

Teach, Learn, Share

Many things to learn, and teach a few, especially about gadgets and technology.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Go for dinner and a chat. And I can definitely make coffee in the morning. I can give recommendation about Guadalajara.

I work from home during weekdays, so I don't mind if you leave to explore the city and come back at night. You won't take a set of keys with you but I'll make sure you have a way to get back in, regardless of the time.

There's private room with a clean bed, there's internet, there's multiple electricity sockets/outlets for you to charge your devices, there's a (mostly empty) fridge, there's hot water in the bathroom and a washing machine/drier in the laundry room. There's filtered bottled water. Use all reasonably.

I guess the requests I have is that you're reasonable in the way you conduct yourself at home. Also that you don't abuse the trust placed upon you. And that you have as much of your profile verified as possible.
