A (comparative) historian living in Budapest working on comparative late XIX - XX century history. Love to cook and experience the best different cultures have to offer, explore how their history, culture, gastronomy, literature, philosophy, art...

Researching comparative history and politics, enjoying the freedoms of my European citizenship, traveling through Europe, discovering new cultures, new cultural scenes, new ways to understand contemporary societies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

living in Budapest for 4 years now, I've sheltered dozens of friends, friends of friends, distant and close relatives, recently known people.

兴趣

I'm essentially interested in meeting fun and aware people, free of any prejudices, multicultural and open-minded, easy to engage in challenging conversations & bounce a couple ideas over a glass of wine.
I enjoy all forms of cultural expression, from architecture to literature, from gastronomy to politics, (contemporary) dance, music or social and civic intervention. I like to read about it, intervene (whem I can), and of course, write & publish my thoughts, hopefully provoking some debate after :)
