Hey guys, we are the Solomons!

We met each other in a hostel in Armenia 🇦🇲 while backpacking in 2019, fell in love and married soon after. We have couch surfed in a couple of nations and now, as we have settled in Germany 🇩🇪, we would like to offer our couch to fellow travelers.

Both of us have backpacked and hitch hiked a lot. We are very easy going. We also added a member to our family, Donny 🐶, in September 2022. Donny is a German Shephard mixed with a husky and he really likes to cuddle and play fetch.

If you have no problems with dogs, feel free to send us a request to stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and make amazing memories. Traveling is best done when you meet locals and experience different perspectives that make you think about life and expand your horizons to make you a better person.

Interests

Joseph: I'm into Jiu Jitsu and powerlifting. I've written a book and have been published in a couple of magazines like VICE. When it comes to football, Sankt Pauli is my love. I also do stand up comedy.

Sarah: I'm into calligraphy and love to do long walks and hikes with Donny. I also train dog obedience. Politics and religion really interest me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic level jiu jitsu and powerlifiting techniques including nutrition while Sarah can teach German, cooking and gardening. Both of us can teach English.

We want to learn about different cultures and different languages. We can share our travel stories and talk about politics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good conversation about world politics, religion, sports and most importantly a conversation about life experiences where we learn from each other.
