To travel the world or at least as much of it as I can!

ABOUT ME

I work as a hydrographic surveyor so spend a lot of time messing around in boats, and because I love that so much I'm also in the Irish Naval Reserve! I'm a travel lover who treats the Lonely Planet as a bible.

PHILOSOPHY

For me life is all about the places you see, the people you meet and the experiences you have. And beer, that and the beer.

Interests

Travel is my greatest passion. I love sports in general and following Leinster and Irish Rugby. When at home I am a current affairs / news junkie!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Remains of the Day, Scent of a Woman, Dead Poets' Society

Music: It's a cliche but will listen to anything...as long as it's by Bruce Springsteen.

Books: Can't beat the Russians, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky. Love everything by Dickens, Phillip Pullman's HDM trilogy and of course CS Lewis, I was very lucky to have grown up in Narnia, it never leaves you...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving the Great Barrier Reef, Walking the Great Wall of China, Horse riding across the plains of Mongolia, marching with the Navy in the New York St Patrick's Day Parade. Watching Wexford win the All Ireland Hurling Final in 1996.
