ABOUT ME

I love life, love God, and love people. Love is the one thing that can break through walls and pull us all together.
I am very open minded and love meeting people from all walks of life. I believe that there is something to learn from every person we encounter. I love hearing about people's viewpoints and learning why they do what they do.
I'm always up for adventure! I'm very much a people person. I love meeting new people and enjoying new experiences.
I'm at a point in life where the "routine" of life just isn't cutting it for me. I don't know what the future holds, but I'm doing what I can to make the most of my everyday.
I love the outdoors. I love hiking, backpacking, climbing mountains. I love travelling to places I've never been and just experiencing the locations for what they are.
Live life every day as an adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Love. Out of all the people I have ever encountered - no matter where they come from in the world or what kind of upbringing they have come from - the one thing that I have observed that everyone has in common, is love. Love is one thing that can tear downs walls and span the divides. Everyone wants to be loved and accepted.

I'm new to CouchSurfing. I've always wanted to, and so now, I can't wait to begin the journey!

Interests

People are the reason for everything. There is so much one can learn from others. Deep conversations are the best.
I've very outdoorsy. I love woods, forests, mountains, deserts. I love to be active. Hiking is my first choice, but riding my bike is a close second.
I love simplicity in life. There is no need for extravagance. All you need is food, water, shelter, people, etc. Some of the best parts of the day are even just enjoying all the beauty of creation around me. Birds, trees, sunrises and sunsets, the night sky, etc. Enjoy the little things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lord of the Rings Trilogy. All kinds of war movies and shows. Band of Brothers.
All kinds of music. Mumford & Sons and Needtobreathe are my favorite though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2013. Watched the sunrise from mountain tops!

Got hitched in 2015! Best adventure of my life so far!
