About Me
Freshly off the boat from Paris, I moved to Zurich about 2 months ago, in search of an international environment. Aside from an exchange semester in Moscow, this is the first time I live abroad.
I'm happy to say that, so far, so good.
I now intend to travel much more than before, and to meet new people as well.
In an English speaking environment, I can appear as extrovert, but eventually, I need my time alone to recharge and reflect. I currently work as an M&A Consultant, which is quite interesting, and I see myself moving to New York in a few years.
Fingers crossed.
I'm interested in communication, politics, psychology, and I'm always interested in learning about things I don't know anything about.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book would be Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth. Kept me up until very late at night. In that category, there is also Dumas's The Count of Monte Cristo, and David Gemmell's Legend.
My favorite music is the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Wilhelm Kempff's interpretation is my favorite one by far. So much energy and madness in that piece.
Last but not least, my favorite movie is The Man From Nowhere starring Korean actor Won Bin. The movie starts with some drug dealing, then takes you on a journey that ends with organ trafficking. A dark movie ending with hope.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Applying the clean-slate approach to Junior Diplomat Initiative France, a student society fostering diplomacy, openmindedness and communication. I became the de facto President in September 2017 and decided to change pretty much everything. I had the wonderful opportunity to connect with great students during the recruitment process. Sadly, I could only take 14 of them.
I think it is fair to say the mission has been a success. I made great friends in the team and we went from 8 events in total for the whole academic year 2016/2017 to 17 for just the 1st semester of 2017/2018.
Teach, Learn, Share
My philosophy of life! I believe in the no-stress approach. There are things beyong my control and accepting it made my life much easier. Had some help from my mother and the Stoics :)
I can also teach anything about communication. You could say it's my number one passion. How to be understood and share your ideas efficiently and effectively.
And, related to that, one thing or two about negotiation :)
Edit: Feels funny to read those lines again, after a few years. I still do believe in the no-stress approach. I'm trying to apply it everyday, whether it be at work (with relative success), and at home (utter disaster). I can also share ways to be more efficient in completing a project/ task/ anything, and ways to be more at peace with yourself
What I Can Share with Hosts
My passion for social psychology. Understanding why people do what they do has always been a goal of mine.
My vision of the world. We can talk about pretty much everything. If it's a topic I know, we'll exchange knowledge, if it isn't, I'll do my best to understand and learn. I always had the best of conversations when the discussion was about politics and when all the parties were actually listening to each other.
And finally, my sarcastic sense of humor. Nuff said
