I'm an 20 year old au pair living in Denver.

I have a difficult time describing myself. I do believe I'm better in person than on paper.

Life philosophy:
When my grandmother was admitted to hospice, the nurses asked her if she had any regrets or last wishes. She told them: "I don't have any regrets. I don't have any wishes. I lived my life the way I wanted." The nurses told us, they never get that answer. I want to live my life so when it's my time to go, I would feel the same as my grandmother.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling more than anything, especially spontaneous trips. If I had all the money in the world i would probably never stop travelling, but since I'm not a millionaire, couch surfing is a good way to get more out of your money. I have a big interest in different cultures, which is why I want to live in different countries. Meeting new people and especially living with them is a great way to understand the world better. That's is also one of the reasons I'm an au pair.

I live with a host family right now, which is why I can't host anyone, but I'm moving back to Denmark in a couple of months, and I wouldn't mind hosting people, especially people I have been hosted by.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of things, to be honest. I'm very mainstream, when it comes to music like pop/rock, but I tend to go old school. I love watching movies, and would watch pretty much every genre. I love a good book, but never have the time to read. One of favorite books, is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't say I have done anything extremely amazing, but I'm still young so I will get my chance. I have lived in 3 countries now, and speak 4, almost 5 languages, which a lot of people my age can't say. I have met a lot of truly amazing people though

I can teach you Danish or any Scandinavian languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good cook, and I love to learn new recipes from places I have went. The more authentic, the better. So if you love food as much as I do, you wouldn't think twice about hosting me.
