Born and raised in the Boston suberbs. I'm a mechanical engineering student at UMass Amherst, but am taking a break from that computerized lifestyle for a few months. Now I'm on my way to CA to work as a summer backpacking guide and counselor in one of the most magestic places on the face of the earth, Yosemite National Park.

My girlfriend and I are in Fort Collins from today (5/12/18) through 5/23/18 to take a WFR (wilderness first aid) course with NOLS (national outdoor leadership school). The only free camping we could find is about an hour away and we are hoping to find something closer since we will be commuting back and forth to our class in Fort Collins.
