Overview
About Me
I am a citizen of the United States, born on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Fun fact, I am a fraternal twin (my other half being a woman). Music is my ultimate passion, but I also love science and math. My other passions lie in film, dance, literature and poetry, nature, philosophy, and travel. I just recently graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University located in Columbus, Ohio. Currently, I live in Columbus, Ohio. I'm in the midst of a gap year to focus on my goals and to save for travel and moving. I will be travelling for a month and about two weeks starting April 26 with my friend Alyssa Jones. I'm part intellectual, and part "moving party" as someone recently described me. Appreciation of beauty and art is my religion and, I believe, the secret to achieving happiness. I'm trying to learn Spanish, but I don't speak it very well. I'm a staunch liberal, I'm a fluid queer, I'm an unapologetic vegetarian, but first and foremost I'm a compassionate, fun-loving, open-minded human. If any of those words in the previous statement scare you, you probably shouldn't host me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in meeting like-minded people who are passionate about the cities that I'm travelling to, and who can show me what is special and great about their respective cities. I want to use this app to make connections. I appreciate how this app isn't about commercialism, and more about connecting individuals. I am searching for hosts for the following cities and dates for me and my friend Alyssa Jones (only for Bordeaux and Barcelona and who you can see featured in my photos):
London (just me) : April 27-April 29 (I depart on the 30th)
Bordeaux (Alyssa Jones and me): May 6 - May 7 (I depart on late on May 8)
Barcelona (Alyssa Jones and me): May 10 - May 13 ( I depart on May 14)
