Overview
About Me
I've recently graduated from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration and I'm working as a manual therapist.
Permaculture (gardening principles), a smattering of artistic talents, and outdoorsy activities - such as hiking, archery, and foraging - fill my days when I'm not at work or enjoying the company of my elders and friends.
Friends say I'm relaxed, centered, smart/wise, and have a great (dry) sense of humor.
I love animals, and I'm particularly fluent in Dog.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for places to stay during my adventures. I'm happy to pitch in around the house (or garden!) with handy skills, storytelling, food/cooking, and cash.

Music, Movies, and Books
Dao De Jing, by Lao Tzu... Neil Gaiman... Ursula LeGuin... Tolkien... Rowling... lots of eastern philosophy, western philosophy, jokes, riddles, and stories.
I really appreciate media and art which gets me thinking. My favorite movies are all Hayao Miyazaki films, Samsara and Baraka, and similar, but I'm also a big fan of the Indiana Jones series, the Harry Potter (and other fantasy) movies, and much, much more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I taught myself Tuvan-style throatsinging during the four years of my college commute!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, clean, fix things, do artsy projects (paint, clay, blacksmithing, etc), gardening, manual labor, and make for decently entertaining company. I've fit a lot of neat experiences into my life thus far, and I love to listen and talk about everything that people value!
