Overview
About Me
I am a 29-year-old born and bred aussie male from Brisbane, Queensland. I'm an active person sitting still isn't my strong point, I thrive on being social and around likeminded people, Also don't mind having a quiet night in and cooking a nice meal with some decent convo and company, I have a love for the outdoors and have many many hobbies and interests my passion is horses, I love going for a good strap and can't wait to embark on this new once in a life time Journey.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been working full time since the age of 16, 5 years on cattle stations (ranch) all through Northern Australia and 7 years in the civil construction and mining industries. Most of my work life has been seasonal and live in situations or FIFO roster systems, I have had a few holidays but nothing substantial in my time so after being made redundant from the mines Iv decided to travel the world to experience life abroad and I couldn't be more excited for the people, places and experiences that are to come my way ☺️
Interests
I have many interest for many different reasons, I love hiking, kayaking, running, squash, gym, rollerblading, Horse riding, cooking, exploring, photography, travel, meeting new people, beach days, clubbing, yoga, 4WDing, and camping to name a few.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a fairly eclectic taste in music from as early as the 50s to the latest. I like Country, Pop, Jazz, relaxation, Hip Hop, electronica, RnB, Dance, rock, Blues, My favorite movie of all time would have to be Australia, mostly because I can relate and have been to most of the places where it was filmed, The green mile, This Is where I leave you, The horse whisperer, Hunger Games and any David Attenborough doco. I'm not a huge reader but do enjoy the occasional autobiography
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the biggest learning experiences of my life was when I was 17yo I was employed in a 300,000 acre remote Cattle station in the Northern Territory, the closest neighbor was 70km away and closest town 250km. My boss would visit me every 2 weeks with food supplies and Diesel for the generator which was only run for a hours per day, it got lonely don't get me wrong, I would be left with a large list of varying duties to be completed before my boss returned the following fortnight with more supplies and another list. I found myself in some dire situations how I didn't die I'll never know ☺️
Teach, Learn, Share
I have learnt to massage and without sounding like a dick am pretty good at it, I have a love for food and cooking and can throw together some pretty good tucker and would be happy to share the cooking, I can also offer you knowledge on anything you could ever want to know about horses and riding and earth moving machinery if your that hard up for fun lol. Also don't mind helping out around the place I'm no Tim Taylor but can use a rake :)
