Overview
About Me
I am infinitely curious, have traveled quite a lot, and am interested in a wide variety of experiences. I enjoy learning from everyone I meet, and like to share and collect stories, and to share what I have learned from many years of travel and learning. My travels are often inspired my photography or art projects, so it’s likely that that’s what I’m pursuing if I’m requesting a stay on your couch or passing through your area. Either that, or you simply looked interesting and I thought it would be good to meet you. If I’m not working on a specific project, then it’s likely I’m pursuing some inexplicable impulse.
These days, my wife, Dolker, and I are traveling together. Dolker is Tibetan, born in exile in India. I am originally from Oklahoma. We are based, much of the time, in New Orleans, USA. That said, we are usually on the road. If you are usually reluctant to host couples because they are boring, I assure you that is not us! We bring two whole worlds of experience and stories into your home. Dolker is an amazing cook, especially of Tibetan and Indian cuisine, and I, for my part, am very skilled at chopping vegetables and washing dishes. That said, I’d say the strongest value we bring with us is our conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I will tell you when we meet. I have many stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I try my best to give travel advice, at least the stuff that works well for me. I know a good deal about American and world literature, and love to talk about that. I like to listen to people´s stories and am always interested in hearing new ideas. I like sharing ideas about photography.
