Originally from New Zealand, I grew up in northern China, and I like to think of Thailand as home. (but really I have no idea)

After living in 5 countries in the last few years I've temporarily settled in beautiful Hobart, Tasmania!

I travelled the world full time as an artist, and now I work here as a travel advisor... biding my time until I can once again live as a vagabond

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe couchsurfing is absolutely the best way of travelling. Why would I want to stay in a hotel by myself, or a hostel full of tourists all doing the same things, when I could meet, stay with, and become friends with locals. Hearing stories from their lives, their travels, their experiences. I love it.
Meeting people and getting the local experience is always my goal with travelling, and I have made so many amazing connections through couchsurfing! Whenever I have a space available I'll always open my place to host other travellers. We're all just doing our best to survive on this planet, so let's work together and help each other🫶

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked from Estonia🇪🇪 to Albania 🇦🇱 !

Camping in a cave up a mountain in the far north of Canada! We had no sleeping bags or blankets and it was freezing cold😭

One time in Thailand, I jumped off a crowded moving boat into the ocean in the middle of the night, because I had to pee so badly and there was no other option💀
